Anyone know when the first patch for this is to be released? I've tried looking it up but couldn't find much myself. You'd think that given how broken the game is they'd at least give a rough ETA to stave off all the cries for refunds...

"How broken the game is."

I don't understand these comments personally. Theres only ONE thing broken. Inviting friends to multiplayer, thats it. It's the only think Ive seen not working.

Blanket statement about how "BROKEN" the game is don't make much sense. Stop ♥♥♥♥in complaining wait for the patch and in the mean time get good so when multiplayer DOES work you won't drag the team down by being terrible.
The bugs reported for this game are numerous and varied. Just because you've only had one doesn't mean that the plethora of problems being reported on the forums don't count, you ego centric prick. I myself have had many of the problems reported, not just the multiplayer one, which is why I referred to the game as broken - problems BTW that are recorded on the activision website if you had actually bothered to check.
If you don't like the way I refer to the game you are quite welcome to ♥♥♥♥ off instead of commenting. Have a nice day.

19 Hours played so far, what bugs are you talking about? I've seen only one graphical bug (Michaelangelo's kusirigama can glitch out when used but still functions correctly), nothing even CLOSE to gamebreaking.

So what are the gamebreaking problems you've seen that are preventing you from playing? Lets hear it.

I wan't this game so bad, can you still party with friends just harder through match making?
Sader Sep 1, 2013 @ 12:55am
Matchmaking is broken, plain and simple. It will obviously be fixed, so if you want the best TMNT game since turtles in time on SNES this is the game to buy.

Thanks, will deffo buy this tomorrow night haha
Frequent game crashes (averages out at about once every 15 mins), falling through levels, allies getting trapped in containers of outside level so cannot be used if my current character dies, endlessly looping wall flip animations on certain parts of the environment, glitchy cerberus boss that frequently charges into wall and gets stuck (therefor becomming invulnerable), resolution and graphics resets, and yes the multiplayers problem (pretty ♥♥♥♥ing important since most people seem to have bought the game for this reason). Some of these issues are game breaking on their own, like the crashing, but large and small added together validates my initial statement.

Honestly 5 mins looking at the forum here would have told you about these problems and more. Did you even bother to look? or have you simply said to yourself "mine works ok therefor everyones must be fine too". You really think "19 hours played so far" proves anything? What an♥♥♥♥♥you are.

I only had the game for .. what.. 4 days and I found tons of bugs..

Most primarily:

a) Awful camera, constantly switches and blocks the view.. this is not SILENT HILL GUYS!
b) combos do not register correctly, specially those with teammates (your char will perform a normal stun instead of combo team stun for example)
c) Multiplayer as no CANCEL button , if you search.. it will be searching forever..
d) Locks in certain screens (Ie, esc buttons or cancel buttons do not work.. example FRIDGE.. sometimes will get stuck and cannot go back to the main screen.. like the ESC button suddenly got unbind )
e) button smashing is awful for this game, as the game seems to records the buttons you press in a queue.. thus causing a lock of attacks (even if there is no enemy infront). Chainattack to sidetargets also is very buggy and do not proceed well (they really tried to make it like arkham asylum/city and failed..)

i've not experienced any glitches so far but they definitely need to make the controls more repsonsive ( the turtles feel likes tanks when it should be ninjas ) and get rid of the lag in terms of controlling turtles and the fact that you cant cancel moves.

A) Awful camera is the players fault. Literally the first thing I learned was to adjust the camera during counters or slow mo instances. This is a skill based game, managing your viewpoint and keeping a mental picture of your enemies is part of that skill. If you can't do it thats your fault not the games.

B) Combos respond perfectly, once again this is an instance of you being bad not a problem with the game. Stop button mashing like a dumbass and pay attention to what you're doing.

C ) Matchmaking is broken, as stated obviously this will be fixed.

D) I have never been stuck in any screens other then matchmaking

E) See... this is why you're stupid. This game is not a button masher, don't ♥♥♥♥ing do it. You need ACTUAL SKILL to combo correctly stop playing like a baddy.

Go to the dojo, take a look at you're moveset and realize that if you're here to button mash. You are playing the wrong game.

I have actually learned to keep my finger on the RT most of the time so I can easily activate TKOs or special moves.

Have gotten pretty good with Mikey and can counter most attacks or take down larger groups but then again he is pretty fast.

As for a patch, it will be out in a bit. It takes time as they first have to replicate the issue then find where in the code it is occuring if at all.

Remember this could be a issue with your setup (resolution reset) and not the game.

the only thing i want in a patch is tighter controls. i know they did not want this to be a button basher but surely they didnt weant the turtles to control as heavy and tank like as they do?
Sader Sep 1, 2013 @ 2:31am
Stop forcing your idea of what you think the combat should feel like adn focus on what it actually feels like. You cannot simply pick a target and press X until they are dead and hope to get any combos at all. You need to learn to flow from enemy to enemy and judge your position, their position, time your dodges and learn how your turtles reacts.

This combat system works FLAWLESSLY, but its only as good as the player. Spend some time in challange mode (I've already put over 19 hours in challange mode alone) and learn how the combat flows. Once you can string together 100 hit combos without getting hit you'll realize how good it actually is.

seriously you think im trying to force an idea on this? stop acting so buthurt that people think there are issues with the game. I've said thats what i feel they should do to improve gameplay and i dont go around button bashing. I've only played a couple of hours at most and can easily do high combos.
