Crash to Desktop After Mission Complete (with workaround)
Specs: Vista 64-bit. GeForce GTX 660. nVidia nForce 650i. Core2 Quad Q6600.
I had one CTD immediately after "Shark" impacts the character at the end of "Nightmare", but the next try passed that fine.
However, I've had multiple CTDs at the end of Mission 9: "Siege". The mission is complete and there's some post-mission chatter, then CTD (presumably as a cutscene is going to start). I've tried playing through the last checkpoint several times and it crashes at the end every time. I'm going to try the workaround of playing in Windowed mode past the crash and will post back with my results.

Success! Setting the game to Windowed mode allowed me to get past the crash-to-desktop and "finish" the mission. (I then set the game back to Fullscreen to continue.)

Same here with Win7 64bits and nVidia Titan at the end of the nightmare, mine begin...

download that nvidia optimizer thingy and let it discover ur games and press optimize on Ace Combat. that could also contribute.

Updating NVidia also fixed the issue for me.
