Game refuses to run
I don't get an error message or anything of the sort. A blank window flashes up after the first-time installation process, then nothing. Nada. I've switched over to the GFWL-less version under betas, tried compatibility options, and tried a registry-related solution, to no avail. Help?

I am in the very same situation, no answer so far.

The black window (command prompt) that appears stays open when you're playing the game, running in the background.
If you close the command prompt while the game is running, it closes the game as well.

Apart from that I don't know a fix.

I couldn't get the game to run either this morning. I tried a number of things but what finally did the trick was to simply restart Steam.

I've tried closing the command prompt but the game stopped at the same time !
