First game was more enjoyable for me.
Yeah, avww2 is not for me. The original is still my game of choice, sorry avww2 but the first game seemed to work out much better when it was using mouse + keyboard. The pacing of the first game was fast and the keyboard + mouse controls were perfect for it. I understand for 2 they wanted a more traditional feel for the gameplay but they didnt slow down the pacing or anything to compensate for keyboard controls, its just the first games pacing without the mouse control. I realise you can switch it to mouse controls, but I wanted to play the game how it was inteded to be played and it just doesnt work as well as avww1 did. Also, I appreciated the artwork of avww1 better then 2's, 2 has alot of out of place monsters even more so then the first game and the animations are worse. avww1 blended genres seemlessly, avww2 feels like 2-3 different games trying to blend together.

I agree. The first game was FAR superior.

The only thing I Dont like is the combat. Which keeps stopping me from exploring the game further. I keep missing, or finding it hard to control my character while trying to hit enemies. Its not an enjoyable experience for me sadly. Ive tried all the mage classes, but was unable to find one I liked. They all feel clunky.

Ive only played as one character though, so I dont know if there are other mage classes available to other characters.

I actually have to agree. I really preferred the action/RPG/Sandbox style of the first game as opposed to this one's turn based strategy with a ridiculously short time limit.

I haven't played the first game very long yet but i've been enjoying it. Tried the second for a few minutes but couldn't stand the art style.
