Is the gameplay really the same as Actraiser? I loved the first Actraiser with the world management and such mixed with the action levels but Actraiser 2 removed that and was just the side scroller action if I recall correclty. I'd love a game in the style of the original Actraiser game.

You guys are silly. They gave us this game for free so that the people who liked AVWW1 the way it was could have it the way it was, but the part of the community who wanted it like this could have it like this. Win/win scenario. And they don't even offer to sell them seperately. You just get both gaming experiences and get to decide for yourself which is best for you. :)

I prefer two. I love playing with a controller and utilizing the various spell arcs to eliminate enemies. The only thing that actually puts me off the game is the strategic section. It feels like a chore between sidescrolling action. I wish I can just drop the difficulty to pawn and automate that section.

One thing that is important to remember is that the two games are ment to be difforent. the first game was considerd to be an open ended sandboxy sort of exploration game. nouthing realy matters with what you do and essentualy you could take the game at your own pace.

The second game however takes the general recipie of the first game but changes the open end sand box side of it for more of a meaningfull game where there are actual consequesnces for dieing ect.

I will say however i find both games are awsome in there own as diforent products
