Question
I'm not sure why but this game acually runs a bit slow for me, oddly enough when I alt tab out of the game it runs smoother, I know this becuase of how the music and foot steps sound. So I was wondering if anyone happened to have this same problem and if you know a way to fix it?

I've looked at that and for what ever reason it will still run slow :(

try changing the resolution down. reinstalling direct x. try windowed mode. adjust your sound....maybe.

How do you change the resolution? I dont see it in the options.

i was thinking you may want to drop your computer's desktop resolution down. the game itself doesn't allow it. also there is a baldurs config file located in YOUR DOCUMENTS\baldurs gate enhaced edition folder. if you open it up there are other thing you can try changing that ARE NOT part of the games options. so say there is a 1 there for a certain option than putting a zero in it's place would turn said option off and visa-versa. one of the options is for frame rate.

I don't know nothing seems to be working. I guess I might just have to put up with it then, kind of a frustrating problem though.

you know what ? have you looked for updated video drivers for your laptop ?
Crazed Possum Sep 5, 2013 @ 1:38pm
or are there intel video graphic adjustments that can be done with your laptop?

this one may be the biggest longshot but you could try ( if u have one ) to plug a monitor into the output VGA connector on your laptop and run it on a monitor .....if you have a VGA cable. hell you never know it might work.
