I think it's only been a couple of weeks since this started, and legal issues are likely to take months.

Can't say i'm bothered. After the mess they made of the original it's no real loss. At the worst expect it to be released as a mod when everything dies down.

Yeah this is probably my biggest gaming bummer since Diablo 3. Current EE is just this 1 patch away from being near-perfect.
