Multiplayer not working *HELP* *REPOST*
My friend and I both bought Baldur's Gate only to get the disapointment of not being able to play together, as we both saw it being a Multiplayer game.

After countless hours of trying out both eachothers ip's, port forwarding even using Hamachi. Nothing is working, does anyone have a fix or tip? It just gets stuck in the (joining selected session... this may take a while, please wait) we both are typing in the correct IP but still failure to join, is there a certain screen we need to wait in? Do we need to include any ports in with the IP? Please help anyone, feeling like this was a waste of cash and time and a huge disapointment.

Just a possibility. In order to make the regular (non-EE) edition multiplayer work, you needed to edit the Baldur.ini file and disable Gamespy as follows

[Gamespy]
Enabled=0

No idea if this is needed in the EE version, but it can't hurt to try it.

I went into the .ini and checked and it had no gamespy options.

Unfortunately I purchased the game as well believing a group of my friends and I can play this together, we've tried port forwarding, Hamachi, and repeatedly trying to join eachother after ten minute waits, nothing is really cutting it. I do hope a solution is soon found, I have a hankerin for some Baldur's Gate.

Yeah, know what you mean Comrade. I have been posting on the Baldur's Gate forums multiple times, no solutions have been found for fixing it for Steam Version. I have been told it works if you didn't buy it for steam but we can't be for sure.

So I imagine we all need to wait till Atari decides to stop sleeping at the computer and get crackin on there major issues.
