Mouse Icon Bug

I love this game - it brings back joyful memories :-)
BUT - when I try to select a weapon for any character, the mouse icon becomes invisible and you can't see where it is selecting, making it impossible to accurately select anything other than by blind luck. It's totally unplayable, the icon goes for good - even in the options screen. This has happened every time I play it (I've tried 3 times, hoping it was just a temporary glitch - can't be bothered playing now, because I know it's gonna end in frustration). Hoping you can patch it up?

Uncheck hardware cursor in options if you havent already done so.

Having the same issue also if you exit the inventory it stays vanished but you can still move your character.

The issue has to do with the maximum cursor size in Windows Vista. Is anyone having this issue with any Windows version other than Vista?

So, do you know the fix? Or is it just disabling the option the guy above suggested?

EDIT: It is just disabling hardware mouse. Don't you just hate Vista?

Look up graphic fixes for the older versions. I remember a long time ago, I had similar issues. Scrolls flying instead of birds, things disappearing, and so on. You may have to dig in your .ini

I'm playing on XP and have had no problems. New computer parts, just an older OS.
