Scar disappears

Scar is gone and I don't know how to use cheats on a Steam game or anyother way of getting him back. Can't finish Chapter 5

please explain how he's gone. Depending on where you are at in the story, he may be dead.

I completed the Iron Throne quest and went looking for him. He wasn't there.

you check the top floor of the flaming fist compound? If that fails, I'd go to an earlier save (before you started the iron throne compound quest) and hope the glitch doesn't start again.

when you exit the iron throne building you get asked by a flaming fist to report to scar, who's nowhere to be found, but asking the guards in the HQ one says to see the boss upstairs. All is well.

PS: speaking to the Duke will result in your being sent automatically to candlecliff, so imho first stop and sell your loot, buy resupplies and refresh your spells (sleep) before reporting in.
