IMHO, Releasing a BG3 on this engine would be tantamount to developer/publisher suicide.
Any thing to give the gaming companies a little help. Not saying they're poor, but times are tough and it would be good to have a decent line of games released.

It literally a list of mods they included.
2th Link
It again literally a list of mods they included.
3th Link
It's a list of thinks that changed between BG1 und BG1EE
Most of them are part of mods.
Yes there is new stuff but the problem is.
The new stuff is buggy as hell. It's more buggy than unhatched BG1.
4th Link
It's a patchlog ... they released a very buggy game an now the patch it.
Yes it's more than a compilation of mods. But that's because Modded BG is less buggy.
I think the best thing ablaut BGEE that they ditched ddraw and fixed OpenGL.
A modernized IEngine awesome. Something the mod community could use.
But as it stands now. It's an overpriced very buggy version of BG1 with build in mods.
I also bought BGEE on Steam for $20 and it was worth every dime. I plan to buy BG2EE at whatever price they plan to charge when it comes out, and I'll rebuy them all again if they ever release the Anthology on Steam.
You can never own too many copies of BG.
The Steam version is also about 2 weeks behind the Beamdog version when it comes to patches due to the Atari having to modify and pass on the updates.
i think you people griping about bugs just have issues with your computer.
