I think you miss the point, people who use steam want their games on steam or the OP wouldn't be complaining.
Not really I'm complaining that they wanted to release a more bugged mess than the original one for double the price. Was just a fair warning to people who want to try the game, better off getting it cheaper elsewhere and modding it, at least it wont crash to desktop every 20 minutes...
Well still a nice reason to fire up my virtual win95 and re-install the original game from my backups :D
