Circles and fog of war

Hi

I have just installed the game, am an old fan, but am concerned with a couple issues.
My characters do not have circles around them or indicate where they are going etc.
Also, the fog of war is not present in my game. I cannot move into area as if it was there, but I cannot see it.
If anyone could help that would be great

I have the same problem! I read somewhere that it was not compatible with intel graphics card, guess that might be the problem. However I do not know if that's the case, because I have no idea what graphics card I have, or you. Have not had the energy to care about such things since the original of this game came out. I tend to buy and hope for the best. And it is still playable, though sligtlly annoying.

If you find a solution, please let me know. Cheers

The problem was solved for me! Not sure what I did, but try to toggle full screen of and restart the game / computer.
