Help Installing TuTu mod
Hey guys,
I have just bought the game and wanted to try out the TuTu mod, but have been having some problems. I have read the directions on the website where I found the download, but when I go to install the mod It is telling me that I need to find the folder for my BG1. I cannot find this file nor can I make one.
Any help would be great!

Based on looking through your game list I take it you don't actually own BGEE and you are just asking for advice about regular BG on here for some reason.

Its easier if you mention where you own the game, CD version has a different install location from the gog.com version.

The game list does not always show games if you search. It might be related to the missing icons.

Why do you want to try tutu? While there are sine additional options, the main reason to use tutu is to get all of the BG2 features in BG1. BG:EE already has the BG2 features and improved resolution. I don't know if tutu will work with BG:EE, since it was made with the original series in mind. I am going to assume you are using windows, in which case Steam games are located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\... (no (x86) after Program Files if you are using 32bit windows)

I don't know about Steam's version, I was going to buy it myself but after reading how the Steam version has gotten borked up by Atari I did a little searching around. There is another online vendor where you buy the game and it has detailed instructions about how to mod its version of the game. What are the differences? I honestly don't know other than the different vendor names. I'd post the link but I not entirely certain if that violates some sort of policy of Steams. What I can tell you is google "how to enhance Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 with mods", should be the first link, you'll know you have the right site when you can buy the game from them.

People have linked to gog before, during their D&D sales. The biggest difference for me is the 16 steps vs 1 step. I used tutu, fix packs, patches, mods in the past. I play the BG series every once in a while, and after a few times, installing everything gets to be tedious. BG:EE has a few new characters and instantaneous loading. Other than that, I think they are about the same. I think BG:EE is worth it when it goes on sale for <= $10.

Do you cyberstalk everyone that posts or do you reserve this strange behavior for those you intend to address directly?
