CLUA console cheats?
Hey does this version enable the CLUA console cheats for adding items using the code? Like the older version did? ;)

You can use CLUA cheats yes. I believe they are enabled initially but changing the baldur.ini to let you use them isn't difficult.

BGEE is running on BG2's engine, so BG1's cheats won't work. Only BG2's.

The problem is how to find the baldur.ini file ? I didn't find it :-(

Look in your (My) Documents folder, you should find a file named Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition. Baldur.ini is there, but make a backup copy of it before editing just in case you break the game. Just remember that nothing outside of 'quotes' is a space, any time you want to make a space you use the Tab key. I added this right before 'Graphics' and the console works:
'Cheats', '1',
Remember use the tab key instead of the spacebar when working outside the quotes.

Thank you for the advice, I don't know why I didn't even think about looking in this directory !
It's an interesting Tab-Sql-ni file, the first I meet ;-)

Ok, I cannot for the life of me make the darn console work. This is my first time trying to do something like this, and all I need to do is reset Minsc's quest counter!!

I am in the same boat... After I put in that line of code I hit ctrl+tab in game but nothing comes up.

my Cntrl+ SPace doesnt seem to pull up the console, or I am not placing 'Cheats', '1' in the right place right area. Anyone think they can post up their .ini file? or at least copy a couple of lines from it?

It's not "cheats 1".

Put the following in your ini file file:

'Program Options', 'Debug Mode', '1',

Put it under the other lines that also read program options. Use TAB to line it up properly if necessary.

In-game press ctrl+space to bring up the console.

You don't have to type out CLUAConsole:"code"() anymore.
Now you can just use C:"code"()

fyi, if you ever are looking for a file you can't find but you know the name or a general idea of the name you can go to start menu, then look right above it and see the search bar. Type in the file name such as baldur.ini and itll pop up above it.

I know some people have had this issue too. When you edit the .ini file, it might not save the changes. You might need to drag it out of the folder and onto your desktop, then make the changes and save it, then place it back in the folder.
