Baldurs Gate EE needs something else.
I have played BG (and the many other games from the same developer, BGII, Icewind Dale 1 & 2) and to see the Enhanced Edition on Steam was at first quite exciting. I browsed the "new and improved" additions to the game, but alas was and still am reluctant to pay the $20 price tag this game has. I have been enjoying BGEE on my iPad (which really has limited selections for good RPGs) and overall am pleased with my purchase of $10 for the app. However, if Atari wants me to pick this version up for my PC, and apart from fixing all of the bugs, there is one major component I am requiring. Allow community modding like so many other games already have. Put BGEE on the Workshop and I will happily pay fork over the $20 to Atari and even contribute mods to the community. Perhaps with enought community support, Atari might consider this request, but I am also realistic. Then again, you never know?

I'm not sure that Atari is really the decision maker as far as what is or is not done with the game anymore. I think that honor goes to overhaul games, who gave it all of it's "enhancements." I think Atari just published it and hoped they would cash in.

I agree. I think atari just authorised its creation and then has gone and published it on steam.

You are probably both right. What I said about Atari then goes to Overhaul games, with same said reservations.
