If I buy it right now, will I be able to play it on Mac later?
By "right now", I mean while it's on discount.

Thanks for your answers.

I would like to know the same thing. I'm expecting it to go Steamplay but I don't know that it will unfortunately. I don't know why it hasn't already since the Mac version has been released.

Ditto. I'm mostly only interested in this if I can play it under OS X.

I was wondering the same thing when they port it to Linux.

It would probably be better to buy it from Beamdog for the Mac version. Atari doesn't seem to care about its customers and if you buy it now from Steam, there's no guarentee that they'll add Mac support for the Steam version.

Android and Linux ports are on the way, in that order.

According to this, it seems unlikely due to some contract issues - https://twitter.com/TrentOster/status/315916431835414530

@TrentOster: "...Mac on Steam is not an option in our overly complicated contract."

So... Sorry, but I will not buy it if it doesn't have OS X version included.

I'm leaning the same way. Even if I were to buy it directly from Beamdog, I'd have to choose between mac and pc.
I'm too used to steamplay providing me both versions together in one purchase, and being able to play either as I see fit. Choosing one over the other doesn't work for me anymore.

I've opted to play it under Windows within a VM, with OS X as my host. I haven't tried it under Crossover yet, but will.
