Beamdog has the OSX. Steam does not.

I recenlty bought this game in a stupid drunk stupor because I love baldurs gate and, hayy, what do we do when we're drunk on Steam? But the next groggy morning I found out that the steam server DOES NOT SUPPORT THE ALREADY AVALIBLE OSX! Is there a time-table for when that will be released here or am i forever boned?

I would ask for a refund because otherwise you are probably forever boned.

What's up with this? It is also available through the Apple 'App Store'. I'd really rather buy it on steam.

I would suspect it is because if you buy it from Beamdog or via the App store you have to buy multiple copies to play it on all your machines but if they fully supported Steam they'd only get one purchase.
