On The Fence
So should I get this, will it be worth it? Will it be a chore to get working like so many other games? I am interested in playing this but I cant justify nearly 20 bucks for a game from 1998 that may/may not work or just feel far too out-dated to enjoy.

If you do, buy it from Beamdog. Atari has a habit of delaying patches to Steam for a couple of days to a week.

Rest assured though, it works better than ever before. No hassle from mods, though there are some mods that are in the process of being converted to BGEE like Sword Coast Strategems and Dark Side of the Sword Coast.

For what ever reason I have had no tech problems with the game at all.

It was this series of rpg that got me in to gaming back in the late 90s.I certainly have a soft spot for bg:).It will look dated there is no doubt about that.

Any hows im having a blast.
