First evil party new cleric advise

well branwen buggered off (rep 2) I got all her nice stuff off her ♥♥♥ so yeah I'm in nashkel heading towards cloakwood. I need a new cleric (evil ofcourse). I really don't know much about evil followers, apparently they are a bit hit and miss. my party = Kegan, Dorm, Edwin, Me (Thief) I know about veronica but i'm not sure about her stats. I may want to run a 6 man later soo suggestion abou tany other cool evil followers is welcome, xzar and montaron suck and are dead btw

Best Evil cleric is Viconia. Second best IMHO is Jaheira, but she's neutral. Tiaxxx is crap IMHO. My personal favorite evil party is PC/Dorn/Kagain/Baeloth/Edwin/Viconia, where my PC is an evil Cleric/Thief or Sorcerer.

Viconia(god if her name was veronica i would have killed her on sight!) is a ok cleric, though she has a rather low wisdom score(it doesn t affect spells much(one less lvl2 spell i recall)

she has very good dexterity, so her armor class gets easily awesome, thank god, because she has low constitution(no extra hit points per lvl)

get her as soon as possible, if you wait too long, she ll be lvl4 when you meet, with 19 hitpoints...

she has spell resistance and that is just the little detail that makes her the best cleric of the game, when your whole party is under a scare, fear, confusion spell, she usually resists it
as a cleric she can use a dispell magic spell , before your confused friends get slaughtered

ahhh my party are lvl 4/5 already :) however i do have that thing where you always get the best hit die rolls, yes i'm a noob this is only my second play, though anyway will that give viconia more hp ... i supose i can hold her back with a sling after all i have kegan with bracers of dex (aka speedbump) and dornny boy to smack stuff up close

indeed, if you keep her in the back, she won t be a burden, her high AC makes you forget she s fragile(give her objects that give missile resistance and she ll often be the only full health character after a battle)

and yes, max hit die makes up for her weakness(initial 19 + 8 = 27 hit points, largely enough to survive accidents)

I am on my first full play through and I am thinking of running an evil party in my next game. So some good advice here.

I've read that Viconia is your best bet for evil Cleric if you don't go that way yourself.

[Siege Mentality]

Honestly, get the ankeg armor hidden in Nashkel. In EE you can equip magic items with it. Make your own cleric, max wis and dex, pop the ankeg armor on it, lol through the rest of the game.

[Mikansei]

Viconia, easily. She has innate magic res, which is always benificial. Throw on XXX of giant strength on her, and she should be able to equip any armor you need if you want to throw her in the frontline. Otherwise, she stays alive just as well in the back.

[Fluke]

As mentioned,give vicky the ogre gaunlets and a sling, you will be suprised how much dmg she conteributes to the fight.there is also a mace called the stupifier that is really easy to get which works well with her.throw the shield of dex on her too for added ranged thaco.
