Belt of Antipode question.
So it says it grants full cold immunity yeah, and "doubles fire damage" Did they do that by giving you -100 fire immunity, or actually just multiplying damage by two? If its the first that belts kinda meh outside some situations, if its the second then with some minor fire immunity gear and a spell you are immune to cold and fire since 2*0 damage is still 0.

If I remember correctly the stat sheet should show -100 for fire resistance.

Ok yeah i just spotted that, the text in the item itself was kinda unclear, it describes half of the effects in the form of "cold resist 100" then the next line is just the sentence "doubles all fire damage taken" rather than the actual mechanical benefit.

Its main benefit is against winter wolves (it that character immune to their attacks). Since you can only get Ice Storm and Cone of Cold from random drops its pretty rare for you to run into cold damage (most enemy mages won't cast it). So the belt has limited use outside of using it against winter wolves.

I'm pretty sure that once you equip the belt, you have to go to a temple and pay for a remove curse spell to take it off.
