Ladies and Gentlemen, presenting my updated Baldur's Gate walkthrough here (for the original BG):

The Baldur’s Gate walkthrough was written playing Cleric/Ranger with Good/Neutral-aligned companions only: Imoen, Jaheira & Khalid, Minsc and Dynaheir. Imoen is dual classed to a mage (conjurer) at thief level 3. It's a completionist walkthrough, or soon will be, exception being some outdoor maps but these will all be updated by the end of 2016.

Durlag’s Tower walkthrough and Tales of the Sword Coast walkthrough are present and complete.

Most NPC's are reached very early with the party's overall xp total being fairly low. E.g. Coran: party experience is 50k xp; Yeslick: party experience is 98k xp; Alora can be reached shortly thereafter.
