Finishing the game, help.

Hey guys, I'm about to finish my second playthrough and this time I'll import my character in SoD and then BG2 later. I know some items from being able to be carried from BG1 to 2, like the golden pantalloons, maybe baldurans helmet... and such. My question is:

Must these items be in CHARNAME's inventory in order to be propperly exported across games, or it being in my party's inventory is just enough?

You don't import into SOD, because BGEE continues into SOD automatically - just like BG2EE continues into TOB automatically.

When you start BG2EE, however, any of the special items must be in the inventory or equipment of your main character. The added trouble because of SOD is that some more items from SOD reappear in BG2EE.

there is a list for SOD ,and aother list for BGEE,the later you can only get 1 weapon you favourite.
