Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes 1.5 Now Available
The fifth major update to Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes is live! Diplomacy and stability are the major focuses of v1.5, which you can enjoy as soon as your Steam client automatically downloads the patch.

The diplomatic AI has been overhauled, making for a more varied and interesting strategic layer. The AI is also more verbose now, telling players how it feels about them and their other rival empires in no uncertain terms.

We also put a big focus on stability for v1.5. We’ve fixed the top 20 crashes and hangs that were affecting players, on top of the usual bug fixes, balance tweaks, and UI improvements.

Have you done any work on the scenarios? I have not been able to complete a single game yet as something always causes an issue. In the Fallen Enchantress scenario I cannot get past the city to proceed to the Tower of the Winds. It is Chapter 4 I believe. And the Legendary Heroes campaign always crashes due to its size. I always get a message stating out of memory. I would really likw to be able to finish these games. Thank You

seriously, what are the REAL system requirements for this game?? i have a moderately decent system (4G RAM, 512M ATI radeon hd 46xx video card) and i get video card errors, game crashes, and system lockups all the time ("all the time" being every hour or so). can't we get the bugs fixed?

I still find it insanely stupid attacking same faction kingdom appears to place a permanent -5 to relations of all kingdoms - including attacking an allied kingdom's enemy.

Only positive thing to say about 1.5 is you didn't take as long to get it out as you did with 1.4. You still haven't fixed major issues with the game nor the host of smaller but insistently annoying issues - for example, the in-your-face pioneer queuing exploit STILL hasn't been fixed.

I guess patches just don't pay like DLC. GG StarDock. :(

PS: No, it isn't all bad, but your approach with this game has been incredibly frustrating. You've prioritized putting out low quality DLC (the latest, "Dead World", even being a blatant copy of a faction from a popular mod available for free) over actually fixing this game's problems. Instead of being excited about your future titles I find myself hoping they fail so you hopefully change your ways.

meh, add the ability to hold points for leveling or better yet add a trait you can get indefenatly to upgrade base stats slightly each time or even yet a level cap would be awesome, as in no more experience gained level cap, if you get all the traits then level up again....welp you have to never use that hero again after you reload and restart the game

This pretty much sums up a lot of these games being pumped out these days. Fortunately torrents exist and give us a chance to demo these things before having money stolen from us!

I thought Steam regularly updates the games automatically. If this is not the case, could someone let me know? Thanks:)

They are disccusing and want to revive 'Elemental War of Magic' from the grave.
Well, good luck with that.

System requirements are recomendations made by the people selling the product. So the recomendation will always favour selling to clients with older machines when they should not.

System requirements should be tested by an independent body of testers with no vested interests.

Unfortunatly Goverments have not yet appointed an officail Video Game Ombudsman for this purpose. So far the industry regulates it'self only and so we pay alot for alot of crap.

Look it is a great game and I have been a long time fan of Stardock but this game has been buggy from release. The random crashes seem to have gone away with this patch but the game still hangs on exit and I have to go into task manager to end it. Can we address the hang on exit please?
