New Steam Version info
- SEGA logo, not THQ
- no more log in needed, uses Steam account to play online
- All DLC included (if your steam account recognized that you own the DLCs)
- boot faster and load faster
- the same game as original CoH

edited.

1. can you delete your CoH + expension? yes, the "New Steam Version" contain all DLCs, but only unlocked if you already own them.

Thanks for this. I saw COH(New Steam) and had no idea what it was.

I don't have any DLC's, does this come with them?

Exactly why I opened the HUB! Thanks for the info.

I have 3 questions for anyone who may know...

1) I can launch campaigns and skirmish from CoH Steam Version (as in delete local content of the original 3 games) and still play every bit of each game (campaign, skirmish for all 3)?
2) Do saves and mods carry over?
3) Is there a new procedure to install maps (.sga)? I use GR Maps now and it works flawlessly.

For anyone that may read this and not know of GR Maps: http://www.coh2.org/topic/1097/installing-custom-maps-for-coh

^ Not my thread or post, so download the file at your risk (I've never had issues and it made it past 2 anti-virus programs). This installer has never failed me (but the map must be a .sga file type... if you have a .sgb you'll have to convert using the world builder).

Thanks again for your post!

Will those Grid-hotkeys mods work without issues in this version?

Why take out THQ's logo for CoH 1? Sega never had anything to do with it. THQ logo should stay in CoH.

But that shouldn't matter, they had absolutely no hand in making the game. You don't see EA logos in the KOTOR games, you don't see Bethesda logos in the original Fallout games, why would you see the sega logo in CoH?

Also noticed the install is much much much smaller... not sure how they pulled that off.
