DOOM Gameplay Issue, Please Help
So I'm running DOOM on Windows 8 and the gameplay and audio are really choppy. Like every few milliseconds it just pauses, making it really frustrating to play. This happens even with the graphics setting on low.

I made these changes just to get the game running: changed fulldouble to true, output to ddraw, aspect to true, scaler to hq3x, sensitivity to 300

Then upon seeing these issues I made these changes: changed irq to 8, changing waitonerror to false

Please tell me what I'm doing wrong or how to fix this.

If that doesn't work, then either try the newest DOSbox version (v0.74) or a sourceport.
