Won't go past splash screen
Trying to run the game on Windows 8.1 Pro x64 and it won't go past the splash screen.

Additionally, there's no audio.

I tried verifying the game files and Steam replaced a few files that didn't match up but it still doesn't work.

You could try using ZDoom to play, that's what everybody uses. :)

Copy the main Doom WAD into the PrBoom folder after it's run to unlock all the Episodes.
