Not Work On Windows 8?
Does this game not work on Windows 8.1? If there is some way to make it work could you please let me know below? Thanks!

it's prepackaged with dosbox. it should work fine.

It dosnt, read this guys post http://steamcommunity.com/app/2280/discussions/0/810938082260694979/ and do exactly as he instructs, including the last part the 'and if it dosnt work then do this too' part, I had to do it as well but it worked.
Not working for me either. 8.1 laptop

Game would just freeze on the title screen. Followed the instructions and that fix worked perfect for me, thanks a bunch.

Right click dosbox.exe, click properties, "compatbility" tab

If you want to play Doom or Doom II in higher resolutions, with OpenGL 3D support give PrBoom a go.

You can download an application that sets it all up here:
- http://sourceforge.net/projects/dooms-19-winx64/

Just need to copy the *.WAD file to the PrBoom folder.
