Any source with Splitscreen?
I tried Doom Legacy but I need a more mod friendly port :)

Oh, and I don't want to look up to kill enemies on the upper floor...

Unfortunately, Doom Legacy is the only source port I'm aware of that has splitscreen support. The only multiplayer methods that devs are concerned with are LAN and TCP/IP connections. Doom Legacy is the only possibility.
