All the pilots will circle around your empty vehicle like vultures while you can move to the capture zone undisturbed.
Pro tip. Trust me.
Make sure to park your vehicle in the open though where everyone can see it. It works like pheromones. The pilots cannot resist the temptation.
Edit: If you want a way to actively "fight back". AA trucks are terrible. What works best is PTRDs or M1919, MG42, DP28. Especially with the infantry first badge you can quickly down a plane that way.
Players need to be able to fight back, matches where your stuck on the wrong side of a farming simulator are no fun.
Infantry first gold badge should be easier to get, have the same bonus as flack jacket gold, and at the least spawnable AA trucks should have the option for improved ammo (incendiery or something, does more damgage vs soft skin targets).
Experience and gredits gained for pilots should also be looked at, i have seem matches where pilots have earned over 100k in a match, in fact over 125k in a match is possible with vet membership.

I have seen capitals fall because of that little "distraction trick". Everyone was too occupied hunting for the empty vehicles.
What is the cost of a vehicle these days though? 50 - 80 credits. That's nothing if the planes leave you alone :P
Edit - If pilots in war are so distracted they will let capitals fall while they fill their wallets there is obviously something wrong here.
The OP (original poster) asked for a way to make the planes leave him alone. I gave him that.
I mean as already mentioned you can also shoot back at them with MGs and PTRDs but that will probably cost you more credits than spawning a vehicle to distract them. If you do shoot back at them you should probably use unmodded guns or it will cost you a fortune if you fire hundreds of rounds of fully modded MGs into the air to get the planes. Just a friendly warning :)
Your tips on combating planes are to feed them exp/credits in the hopes they leave you alone, and dont fire back at them much cause you have no chance and will just burn credits? Do you realise what your saying in your 'defence' of how planes are right now?
He wanted a solution. I gave him a passive and an active way to fight the planes. I never said I condone the way planes can easily make 50k+ credits by blowing up empty vehicles. It is stupid but that's the way it is. Whining in this thread thinking that RETO will nerf blames will not help anyone. Following my suggestions will (at least a little).
The last thing you should do is feed pilots, if anything refuse to spawn vehicles (especially tanks, as high flying planes can 'see' thru clouds and trees to spot you), and leave the match if needed, starve them, dont feed them.
I absolutely agree, but for now the things that I suggested here are probably the only things that YOU personally can do. Or you can just leave a match with planes in it and look for another one without planes. The MM is quite fast these days if you queue as infantry and you no longer have to wait the 180 sec before you can start searching for a new game.
Weird, I left the match but it said that ''squad is still in combat''. Is it different for War?
