Freeze after Splash Screen
So... I just DL'd this game, and I press the start game button for Single Player, it shows the splash, then just sits there. I can't click my screen unless I minimize it or close it. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Just to be clear, the game menu with the 3D background works for you, but it freezes as soon as you start a new campaign? Usually the next thing to happen is that a video plays, so maybe that's what is failing. You could try skipping it with the space bar, to see if the game recovers. I'm also considering adding a flag to disable videos in a future patch, for troubleshooting.

Same here, after clikcing play from the launcher, I get an icon on the taskbar and music, but that's it. It never actually gets into the game.

Uninstalling. Major dev fail to launch an apparently game breaking patch (based on other threads about it) during a trial period.

For what it's worth:
GeForce GTX 680 on 327.23 drivers
Windows 7 x64

Figured out the problem. Apparently the game is conflicting with D3DOverrider - which is commonly used utility to force triple buffering. Shut that down and now I can get into the game.

It's rare that I have a problem caused by that so it's always the last thing I think of. Apologies to the dev.

Based on this, I'm wondering if other overlay/wrapper type programs could be the source of the game's problems. FRAPS, MSI Afterburner, that sort of thing.

Any you may want to make a sticky to notify people to turning off/make an exception profile for D3DOverrider because I know a lot of people that use that.

After install I noticed a few of the same issues mentenioned The setup startup of the game is a little misleading You follow all those basics at the begininning and think I'm good to go, well theres a whole nother menu for set up and other options. Extensive. You fix all your crap there and magically it becomes a game.
