OK, what ARE the real system requirements?
I'm hearing a lot of different messages on this forum, some people can run it fine, others get 10 FPS or less in certain areas, like heat effects in Zone 2 or something like that.

Official system requirements: 2 GHz dual core, 2 GB RAM, GeForce 8800 GT or Radeon HD 2900

My system: 4 GHz i5 2500k (quad), 4 GB RAM, Radeon HD 6950

Now, I would assume the game would run well, because, uhm, "my numbers are bigger. Like, more than double." Now that is one of the things about PC gaming, just because your rig can run Crysis 3 doesn't mean it can run every game of the same or lesser sys.reqs. There's an infinitude of different hardware configs, and some game engines are just less tolerant than others. Writing a game that would run on every PC in the world... would probably be a text adventure or something. So in the end it IS a little gamble, friend of mine bought a game on Steam that won't run at all. 'Stopper' or something. And I remember I used to play Duke Nukem 3D on my 486 and it ran like ♥♥♥♥ whenever I went underwater.

But, you know, the game costs $20, not $60. You can always log into your steam account on a friend's computer and try it on their rig. That itself can become a kind of social event, "hey check out this new game I got, it looks really trippy and fun, let's try it over your house!" Bring beer and pizza and you can make jokes about the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ framerate together. :-D

Also, apparently the devs worked hard to support Sol Survivor post-release, so give them time. Check out a few other recent 6DOF shooters in the meantime, like Miner Wars 2081, Neon, Forsaken:ProjectX etc. Me, I'm still figuring out how to rescue Dr. Schweitzer! (Descent 3)

I bought bundle for $10, cause, that's what I gave to origin bundle. Seems simplest & fairest to treat them equally.
