Remake?
I remember a game like this in the 90s, but the game procedurely generated maps based on the actual file structure of the hard drive.

I remember a game like this. , you had to shut of cameras/sensors to allow something to pass levels. But you had to do it within the computer system, you fought giant newton cradles. And weird centipede constructs. Wish I could remember what it was called. Arrrgh ! My age addled mind !

@Caradain Do you mean Interphase from 1989? That game sprang to mind when I saw this :)
That was a great game in it's time.

Not sure what you mean about unrealted game. It's a game about killing computer viruses; this is a game about killing computer viruses... I was asking if this was a related game. IP is bought and sold all the time. The video kind of reminded me of Decsent but the concept from the description made it seem sort of like the other game. Killing computer viruses in your computer.

Interphase was a pretty neat one. I hadn't thought of that, but I suppose the puzzle aspects could be similar.

a similar game, "Re-mission" from 2006 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Re-mission
This game is primarily inspired by the Descent series of games, ending with Descent 3 in 1999.

It is a lovely interpretation of the Descent 6DOF concept, and well worth checking out.
