Memory (experience) during replays
I'm curious how memory (experience) is carried over between levels as I'm currently short on time to test it myself. I know that when you go back a level, you don't get to take all your skill points along. But how does this work with playing forward? If I don't grab everything in level A, will this be at my disadvantage level B and so on? Or do you automatically start each level with the maximum of memory you could have attained during the previous level?

You start each level with the total memory you've collected from all earlier levels. So if you play a level again and improve how much memory you've found, you will start later levels with more from then on.

Co-op works a little differently, because the game cannot assume that the player has completed all previous levels, so it gives an approximate fraction of the possible memory for unfinished levels.
