You pay some of your prestige to improve relation with Austria and France. And you build up an army, with patience and diplomatic touch, you wait for Prussia to get involved in a conflict with Russia, and then AHAH ! Hit it in the back and get some provinces, repeat. Repeat with Austria. Get some access with great powers too can help. You eventually can win a minor victory if you win enough battles, but it's not easy.
Resume : Attack little states, hit big ones in the back with help.
With Egypt, it's easier. Get Tripolitania fast, then all Africa, then Ottoman. Almost as easy that Ottoman Empire. With the others, yes, impossible. Never played with Denmark.
Considering at the outset of the game Sweden and Denmark have around the same military size something like 50,000-60,000 men I could totally see Denmark beating Sweden if controlled by a human player. And having played as Sweden myself I can say that their manpower at the beginning of the game is absolutely ♥♥♥♥. I want to say it's like between 1200 and 2400 until you take provinces. Not to mention in the beginning the Danish navy will absolutely trounce the Swedes(so long as you avoid war with the british although having never played as Denmark I don't even know if that's possible). Denmark can't win the game but it can definitely eat Sweden.
I play for Egypt and I beat Ottomans 3x times in row (first war was immediately in januar 1805) without hassle. A just wait for them and I beat them on my land. Human player for Denmark couldnt lose with Sweden. Denmark have bigger navy... and land forces are equal so its not hard.
For Bavaria this is playable too... Others nations are probably unplayable yes. Because they havent manpower. (Persia have some manpower so beating Ottomans is theoretically possible, but survive war with Russia is unlikely...)
With Morocco, getting all North Africa and attacking Ottoman empire is easy, also get some of the italian islands if you are quick and lucky. But win a war against a coalition...
With Denmark, attacking Mecklembourg and Oldenbourg and ripping Sweden apart is possible, if you don't forget to improve your relations with Prussia. After some time, advancing in Prussia near 1815 when Russia or Austria are at war with them.
With Persia, I managed to offer only the province they needed to Russia without fighting and losing men in a pointless war. After what, wining two wars against the Ottoman is easy : they are always at war with Austria or Russia or both. With the won provinces, money and men, plus Egypt, I won two wars against Russia and take back all Ottoman provinces they had, mine, and all Caucasus (Thanks to the coalition wars) before 1818.
To "win" as a little power, you have to be patient and stab some backs.
I really win a minor victory with Bavaria, but that's all.
