Try restarting Steam and pray the people at Steam press the release button soon.

I've noticed Paradox has also removed the option to register the game on their site! :S It's no longer in the drop down of 'owned games'.

Nopes, it's still there. Think it might have been a cache issue if it disappeared for you.
