unfortunately, unless it has been changed, the save file is in your registry.

As of 2/13/13, this is still true (and rather unfortunate).

I needed to move it to my laptop to play while I travel - so for those of you smart and adventurous enough to use regedit, the save data can be found at:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/EightyEightGames

Simply export the entire key/folder by right-clicking on it and choosing Export, then save it as a .reg file. Move the file, double-click on the .reg on the new PC, and viola.

Again, only do this if you are comfortable editing the registry and understand the risks and how the registry works. I'm not responsible for any damages this may cause, up to and including the premature heat-death of the universe (or you ruining your PC).

ah, that sucks. I might have wanted to try this before, but i already erased it. Either way i think they should change the save location to somewhere else.

Since i lost my save file, I have 0 interest in coming back to this game.

If anyone is looking for a similar game that is a little deeper and is turn based, check out puzzle quest!

How weird for a game in 2013... Nice to know though.
I wonder how / where it is saved on the Linux version. I can't find it where user-specific files should be.

Took me a while to find it (was doing a fresh distro install) but on linux it's /home/username/.config/unity3d/EightyEightGames/10000000

sooo glad I didn't have to restart :)

Almost as twisted as to save the game into the Windows registry xD Thank you raynor
