bought this on iOs for $2
when i saw this on steam, i remembered seeing it on my iPad so i went in and saw it for $2.
i prefer the iPad version for that reason and also because it is portable.

i like that they made it available to PC users but i noticed this trend with ipad games being ported to pc for double the price..like bastion.

the game is fun and addicting but there are some flaws as other pointed out in the itunes store.

there is not much replay value once you get all the upgrades and reach 10 million points.
there is no way to reset the data and start over without deleting the app and reinstalling it.

i think both of these would be fixed if they had a "new game +" mode
maybe if they make it so you have to go for 100 million.
or they could even do like infinity blade and set up a system of upgrades that goes endlessly according to some exponential value and have the enemies scale up accordingly.

but when you boil it down..its fun for a few hours or a couple days and then you will probably just put it away

Actually, a reset button was added to the PC version. :)

It took me 7 hrs and 45 mins to get to 10000000, so I feel I got my money's worth, plus there are a couple of difficult achievements to shoot for which will extend my playtime if I choose to persue them.

The dev promises some extra challenge options to be added as free DLC in the near future.

I remember when "DLC" was "A Patch"; "Season Passes" were "Expansion Packs" - that you actually got to view the contents of prior to buying, and "New Game +" was just "Starting the game over and playing it differently".

Actually, patches are still patches. DLC is the new "Expansion Pack," and "Season Passes" are just paying for the "Expansion Packs" in advance. ...and even back in the hayday, most games didn't have New Game+.

New Game plus, to me, ment starting the game at level 1 with all the items you had at the end of the last play though.

I think it's mainly a harder mode with extras after finishing a game. Not necessarily carrying over stuff.
