'course, I find it rather pathetic that a $5 price for a game needs to be "justified" at all...
All this comes down to is this: if the game is fun and keeps you occupied, great!
I found it, i bought it, it's entertaining and it's a well made game. End of.
If you didn't enjoy it, well, that's a shame. You chose to spend your money on it. It's not exactly overly expensive.
I thought it was a reasonable price, and as any programmer knows, a game such as this was not made overnight.
I'm just tired of looking at comments saying what a waste of effort this game turned out to be.
SIGH.
At $5, the game has to compete with a massive amount of longer, more complete, and sometimes flat-out better game out there on Steam.
Reasonable price it may be, but I can see why PC gamers would feel somewhat betrayed.
After playing 10000000 for a couple hours it is definitely worth the $4-5 for the developers hard work.
I agree after playing it for about an hour on my ipad it was worth the 2 dollars i paid.
Sure but since OP implies that the developer doesn't make ACTUAL PROFIT if sold for less than steam price it means that steam users pay for ios users.
The costs of releasing are similar for the dev (i think both apple and steam ask about 30%) and most of the game was already done so the steam version should have been cheaper. So why is it reasonable to ask more than twice on this platform compared to iOS?
Or to say it differently, why did the dev not want to make a profit on iOS but now asks us steam community to pay for the development?
If you can't make a profit on that platform WHY on earth would that be your first target platform?
All you are saying now is that the developer was stupid enough to compete on a market where he can't make a good profit so now he comes to us and wants us to compensate for his stupid idea to compete on the iOS platform by selling his game for more than twice the price.
Great..,., :/
