This game needs a 'Restart Run' button, badly...

I think the nature of this game makes it easy to get stumped in certain situations. The way it is now, if you get stumped you have to wait for your avatar to scroll off the screen before you get an option to restart the run. Sometimes this can take a great deal of time. A simple 'Restart Run' button that was always available in the pause menu would make the gameplay experience a lot less tedious.

If you don't achieve anything it lets you replay the run. if you do achieve something then it will take you back home so you can get the new set of things to achieve.

Now that I've played it a bit more I get why it doesn't let you restart. Starting out I was focused on the matching part of the game, and didn't quite get the whole of the mechanics. Now that I'm more familiar with it the way it works I get why a 'restart run' feature isn't included.

a great deal of time... heh I don't see how my character scrolls off too fast.

I felt the same way when I first started playing. Once I upgraded the character with gold and XP though I started to last longer. I also find that if you focus on make matches near the bottom of the screen, it increases the chances that you'll trigger long chains of matches with one move.
