Yes, match-three is pretty simple by itself, but this game puts this into absolutely different dimension. I just cant stop playing)

what exactly is it like?

you can watch the videos to get an idea.

However, I just started today and haven't gotten too far. It's impossibly difficult and you slowly get money to boost weapons to eventually make the game easier. Maybe a little tedious the pace.

after you've maxed out weapons/armor for a specific "area" the pace slows way down. Resources pile up because they can't be spent. Then it's just do the same thing over and over and over and over...

you slide the rows either up and down or side to side to create matches of 3 or more. All of the matches do different things, keys unlock, swords do melee dmg, and so on. While you do each run/game you earn xp, gold and resources which you then use to upgrade your castle buy better gear or train new skills. It is also fast paced unlike say puzzle quest

Think of it as a strategec match-3. (sorry for the spelling)

You bassicly match tiles to make your charecter do things... the trick is to do the right thing at the tight time. you match swords and staves to attack, you match keys to unlock doors and chests, you match wood and stone to get building materials.

The thing is, if you slow down, thats how you lose. The trick is to keep a good balance between swords, staves, and keys to keep moving. you need to know when to save your swords for that ninja over there, and when to just say screw it and burn through them.

this is how the game plays, in a nutshell... you get good at this, and you cut through millions of enemys without blinking an eye... I can do that when I'm doing good, but I still stop in fear when I come accross a locked chest... keys, never around when you need em, flooding your screen when you don't.

I got this on android for 2 bucks and it's a really great game on the go. It lends itself well to touch controls. Overall it's worth it.

It's good, but once you have everything upgraded it's pretty much just play over and over until you get lucky and hit 10 million, or go for the achievements that aren't unlocked yet, which is pretty much hit 10 million on different difficulties.

Make sure you notice the "Upgrade" button on the top right of each of your rooms... Sounds like someone in this thread did not see it, I also didn't see it for ages and thought I was just terrible or something

I bought it...played it for a minute...6 hours later and I still can't stop playing. It's simple, yet elegant in it's design and purpose.
