Can't start the game, minidump error?
I'm on windows 8, nvidia gtx 660m, 8gb ram. Everytime i try to start teh game, a God Mode window pops up, it's all white, then a second later I get a unhandled exception, game crashed, minidump saved error. I haven't even been able to get to the start menu... is there some fix for this? will the patch fix this? if not, do I get a refund?

-Try running the game in compatability mode.
same thing is happening to me, win7, 2x 580gtx, 8gb ram
Same minidump error .... game worked before the update, no way to play it now :(
For every steam game you get ever install, if it fails to launch, right click on the game in your game library. There you right click on teh game, go to properties. In properties select the local files tab and go to browse local files. In 9/10 games there will be a folder called "redist" or "VCredist" "tools" or somthing similar. in this games case its called "_CommonRedist". In that folder you will find things like DirectX, C++ and .net. Thet need to be installed on your machine in order for the game to run. In my case i already had the c++ "vcredist" version installed (i could tell because when i tried to run it it brought me to "uninstall or repair" options). However i had to run and install that version of DirectX in order to get the game to start.

If you ever buy a steam game and it fails to launch that should be where you look first. Most of the time it fixes your problem. Ive had probably 6 or 7 games that required me to do this in order to work.

Secondly it goes without saying you should have the latest drivers installed for your video card.

Thirdly, "verify integrity of the file cache" in the "local files tab." - this fixed 1 game for me once.

Finaly, for me, again going to the games local files, going into the "bin" directory, right clicking on the file "Godmode.exe" and going to properties, selecting the "compatability" tab and checking the "run as administrator" box got the game working for me. (This had to be done after the june 13 patch, game ran fine before then).

These are sort of the first things you check when any game fails to run. Hope this helps.

I have tried all fixes listed in all threads, I am pretty sad about this patch breaking the game. It finally has (what I assume to be) real multi-mon support, and I was super excited to fire this back up. All of my friends I play with are also having the dreaded Minidump error. So none of us can play, where as we were all able to play just fine pre-patch.
still doesnt work, and they send it for a review, great review then xD
Well... i have de solution (for me is working) change the configuration of the "video card" and disable "FXAA" and with that was solved for me
Ok so i have a fix that may help you guys. If you are able to, find someone who's game works (or you can try it with your own downloaded game). Back it up onto your computer. Then keep restoring the game until it works. For me, my downloaded speed sucks so doing the restore method is much faster. After 6 deletes > re-installs, my game works. Now when you uninstall, go into the steamapps folder on your computer, into the "common" folder, and delete the godmode file. Then go into your game library and right click godmode, "delete local content" or whatever that is. Then reinstall. Keep doing this until it works. (it should work after "a few" times doing this. Like i said it took me 6 times)
*bump* want to hear if anyone else's game was fixed after reinstalling multiple times

Didn't work, game still isn't launching
I had the same error on Windows 7, fixed it by changing graphics options in game. Hope that helps someone.
i had to put all video settings low, it worked..
yeah, putting the video settings to low made it work for me too, so even if you should be able to play it on high try out the low settings
reduces the resolution to 1280x768 and leaves everything off and low , RAN \ O / I am with Windows 10 Home , Samsung laptop core i7 , 8 gbs ram and onboard Intel HD 4000 video :(
