Play without score on screen?
Im considering buying this but the score on the screen is kinda silly. Is there a way to play it without the score on the screen? Or should I just wait for another version of this game?

There is a folder in your Steam directory called InGameScore. The full path under your Steam directory is:

Steam\SteamApps\common\Dragon's Lair\Artwork\Numbers\InGameScore.

Rename "InGameScore" to something else, like "InGameScoreZZZ', then the game will play with out the score visible. To re-enable the score display, change the folder back to "InGameScore".

The score is up there, because the original arcade version had it.

That original arcade cabinets did not have the the score and lives on the screen. Those were indicated separately on an LED display panel.
