Great game so far, but theres a few problems
I am really enjoying this game so far. The original ETS was good, but it really lacked a lot of features. I just finally upgraded my garage and hired my first driver :P. However, I have noticed a few things that could use fixing:

- Needs the option for higher antialiasing. I play on a rather large monitor, and almost everything in the distance has horrible jagged edges. I tried forcing it to 16x in the NVIDIA control panel, but that didn't seem to work.

- The traffic AI could use some work in a few places. Now don't get me wrong, the AI is great and realistic, but I have noticed that when im at an instersection behind someone turning left, they will literally sit there for like 5-10 seconds before turning. Even if the intersection is empty and the light turned red. Maybe they're texting? :O

Actually, those are the only two gripes I can think of at the moment. This game is awesome from the 7-some hours i've played so far. I can easily see myself playing this for a long, long time, slowly growing and expanding my business in to all of Europe. Soon it shall all be mine!

I just wish things were a little...bigger. The distances seem too short to me.
The traffic AI and density could use a bit of an upgrade too.

The aliasing problem is mostly solved by turning the scale in settings to 200% or higher. Keep in mind that the game will force your graphics card to essentially render the scene in 2x the resolution (for 200%) and then scale it back to native (smoothing the edges), but it will give a huge performance drop. So experiment with the scaling till you find balance between FPS and quality. Also lower shadows and reflections, they slow the game significantly.

Yes, the NV control panel forcing the AA/AF doesnt give any effect with this engine for some reason.

Did you try the FXAA Injector Tool 2.0 for better antialiasing?

It's worth mentioning that no matter what sort of AA you run (be it through scaling/supersampling or FXAA or something else), the game looks bad when it starts to rain. There's some sort of forced resolution downscaling in the rain that looks really terrible. It's most noticeable on the dash gauges.

the problem with injector tools and hooks (like this one or ENB) is that they conflict with other hooks, like Rivatuner/Afterburner OSD, FRAPS/PlayClaw or streaming software GameSource hooks.

Hmm, I can't say I've noticed the same thing.

Hmm, I don't think i've noticed that either. Next time it rains, i'll watch for that. I love the rain effect on the windows though ^^

I'll check to see if there's a setting I've missed or something, but I can definitely see the inside of the cab get blurry/pixelated once the rain starts to actually fall and hit the windshield. Could be some sort of filter, but it's obnoxious on trucks like the Renaults where the markings on the tachometer are small to begin with.

Could be a random bug or not something most will notice either.
