Linux: Request for .ogg radio player

I have been hoping for the radio player to work in Linux since the beta first came out.
I see it has been removed completly from the menu now in Linux. Since you won't pay for license for mp3, and won't check for/use mplayer or anything else that can play mp3 on Linux, is there any chance you can let the radio play .ogg stations? There are heaps available.

Please Please Please! It makes it sooo much more immersive.
