icon remove?

Hi. I'm trying to remove that icon from the recruitment agency on the map. So this way I can see if I have already drove inside the agency, because I alredy drove 99.99% of the map.

I extracted the base.scs to a folder, found that icon at material\ui\map named recruitment_ico.dds.

Then I tried changing the colors, deleting it, changing alpha channel. Nothing works. After the changes I right click the "material" folder and put on a rar file as "store" compression. Then I rename it to somethin.scs. Still can't ge it to work, it worked once but I have no idea why.

Any idea?

Go to the Map view (keyboard M), zoom all the way in. You should be able to see if the parking lot is marked as visited.

I am not sure that Agency parking lots contribute to roads completed, I think NOT.

Add-on maps often have roads that you cannot drive on but would contribute to roads driven, so in that case you can never get 100%.

You can get 100% with the base map plus the DLC. The Promods map and TSM map MAY prevent you from getting 100% (depending on the map version).

Woa thanks a lot zbobg, I'm going to test them now, hope their work in 1.8... I don't have TSM, I saw some videos, looks good, but if I ever "regret" using it I don't wanna lost my profile. Even with maximum zoom, some places still hidden by the icon, maybe it has something to do with my old monitor 1024x768. Pc is good, but the screen is old.

Just to help anyone else. The 2 mods work, the "hide icons" is more important. The other isn't working as it should but also helps. There was like 15 places to drive, only "recruitment agency" and small "truck dealer". Even after I got 100% I still had 5 or more to complete.

If instead of driving to the places you chose the "quick trip" thing or whatever it is called in english (mine is portuguese). Don't click that option while parked over those green icons on the world, like the thing to fix the truck or buy fuel.

The Undiscovered Mod MUST be loaded after other Mods, it overrides values that other Mods typically have set, map Mods are usually responsible for that. This MAY also cause other Mods to stop working properly. Fortunately the Mod is only for temporary use and can be safely removed restoring your other Mods to their previous behavior.
