economy mod idea
lo guys
So i had this idea a while ago and i wonder if its possible to make this mod and if someone want to make it since im a complete noob at moding.
My idea is: no matter how much money you have in your account, everytime you pick a job whit your own truck, you get paid before you start that same job. Basically you have a second account just for this, and all your expenses related to that job (fuel, toll, ferry, offences, reparing your truck while taking a load, etc..) would be paid whit that money. After unloading your trailer at the destination point, all the money left (your job profit) its added to your company account, wich can be used to upgrade/buy new trucks, garages, or more drivers. I think this would make ppl to think more about the jobs offered and pick new routes in the map, trying to get the most profit possible in every job.
Please tell me what you guys think of this idea. Thx :)

Uhmm.. I don't get it, sorry. How would this be any different from the current way, other than getting paid for a job that you haven't done yet?

ok, lets see: the current way you have a huge amount of money in your bank account, so you dont care if you crash your truck and it cost 50 or 60k to repair it right? My way is: ypu pick job, lets say 25k and from the moment you start the job until you reach the destination point and unloading the trailer and finish the job, all you expenses will be paid from the initiall 25k...example: from the initall 25k you have to fill the fuel tank( lets say you spend 1200 euros for that), and you have to pay about 150 euros for tolls+ 750 euros in Ferry, + 1 or 2 Speeding Offences and assuming you get at your destination in time and whitout trailer damage you final profit would be:something like 20000 euros! the point is you have to rely only in the money that you get paid of for the job and not rely in your company money to pay for the job expenses.

What would happen when you make a crash with the Truck and the repair costs would be over the money you would get paid?
In the end it would get taken again from your "own" account and nothing had changed...

What I did rev, was set up a spreed sheet so I can see the net profit or loss from my jobs.
The only thing that messes me up is when the map says take the Channel Tunnel, and I know that my load won't fit on the box car, so I'm forced to take the boat from Dover, then It ussually makes me late for my final destination. It would be nice if you could choose a seconed chioce to cross the channel, no extra time but at least your sat nav would work.I did one wrong turn in Dover last trip and was nearly In southhampton befor I could get a route back to ferry terminal. Was a bt late but still made a profit. :)
