Euro Truck Simulator 2 + G27 Accelerator ..no inertia
HI, I have acquired Euro Truck Simulator 2 and connected it to Logitech G27. I find that when I take my foot off the gas the Truck comes to a quick and sudden halt. It doesn't feel natural.
Shouldn't the truck "roll" on a bit by inertia even if there is no power coming from the gas?
Do I have to change some setting?
Any help with this would be appreciated.

You should know that you need to put it in the neutral when you about to stop at the red light and push handbrake or hold brakes with ur foot and then hold clutch put in 1st gear realese handbrake or foot brake and there we go . Push a gas a little bit and at the same time slowly remove clutch. Tips for driving by Tomato. If ur not using clutch only automatic ye it should be some intertia comming. Inertia can be used for eco driving.

You probably have automatic engine brake on. If you do it would be in your gameplay settings. Automatic engine brake, when checked in settings, which is set to on by default will come on every time you let up off the gas. I personally turn both retarder and engine brake off automatic, which they are both on by default.

There is a problem with the recent Windows 10 update and Logitech. If that is what you are running it may have defaulted to the default Windows driver. If that is the case your profiler will not work for the G27. Solution: Unstall all Logitech Software. Do a forced unstall if you need to. Open Control Panel/ hardware/ devices and printers/ computer icon- right click select download update- select NO. and save changes.
Reinstall Logitech 5.10 software for the G27 and profiler should in there now. Reinstall any other Logitech software you may have, (keyboard, etc.). Open Task manager and on startup tab, disable the Logitech updater. Should be ok now so that you have your profiler back.
I just about went through all the curse words I can think of for 2 days, before I got mine back to working.
