Display Fusion not working with Settlers 4
To be more specific, I cannot get Display Fusion to cooperate with the GOG sold version of Settlers 4 Gold.

I need to move it to my second monitor which has a resolution of 1280 x 1024, but the functions for doing this do not work. I set it up to launch on the second monitor, and it still only uses the first.

Might be something to look at for a future update (using the non-Steam version of Display Fusion).

Does Settlers 4 have a "windowed" mode in the video settings? If so, you'll need to change it to that in order to move it using the hotkey.

Alternatively, you can change the Primary monitor, and save it as Monitor Profile in DisplayFusion, then load the Monitor Profile using a hotkey before launching Settlers 4.

Please let me know if you have any other questions at all.

Thanks!

It's supposed to. But it ignores the ini file in which it is set.

The monitor profile half works. It manages to put the game on the second monitor, but in doing so moves and resizes open windows (which is what I was trying to avoid in the first place).

Ah ok, there's not much that can be done there unfortunately. We're hoping to add a feature in a future version that will allow you to save/restore window positions though, so that may help out with this scenario when we're able to implement it :)

I currently use the free version of this software and I have had that issue occur before Chika.. Just continue messing with it. Make sure you are making your second monitor your primary monitor. Any time this happened to me I just toyed with it a bit and got it to work eventually.

Try adjusting properties of the game in your library and under advanced properties type "-windowed". That might work?

Edit: Re-read that you're using a GOG version of that game. Not sure if they have an advanced settings field as I do not use that software.

Trying to switch some fullscreen applications between monitors may be impossible or cause problems (especially games) due to the way directx works.
There is probably nothing the developer of DisplayFusion can do to change this.
