"Your Steam License Key failed to load correctly" - Win7 64-bit
I have purchased and installed this software through steam. After installing, I try to run the software. I get an error stating that my steam license key failed to load correctly. Does anyone else get this error?

I have emailed Display Fusion support, but no response yet. Once I hear something I will post to this forum.

Hi all, this seems to be an issue when running the installer from a non-administrator's account. Please email us at support@displayfusion.com and we'll send over instructions on how to fix it up.

Thanks!

Seeing such quick reply from a developer has pushed me over the edge to get this.
The Steam sale helped also. :)

I was able to run steam as an administrator and then install displayfusion.

Been a Utramon user for years, Display Fusion is 100 times better and i am only currently using the Beta from thier website, This software will be added to my library.

Steam, why are you not posting some info that the software selections are part od the Summer Sale so more people know, all the attention is to games when there is some great software available theu Steam

Same here could not get it to work, but changed my account to an admin, went through the set up with said account then fine, then changed back to standard user, all is good :)

I've received your email to our support mailbox and responded there. I believe your issue may be slightly different than what the folks here are running into.

Thanks!

I had this same problem after I purchased the Steam version. Just right-click Steam.exe and 'Run as Administrator' and Display Fusion will install correctly and run fine after that.

At first glance I thought you were being sarcastic and calling him a ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

...then I realized you mispelled ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and his name is actually Douch. lol
